For this photo assignment, I shot the subject still life, which I had been saving especially for the last photo assignment. Shooting still life was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be because I had a difficult time picking objects to shoot. After a while of taking pictures, I took some weird things from my sister's room, like the rocks and the glass block in the picture below, and they actually made interesting pictures! I used two white binders for my background and used a flashlight to illuminate the focus point and to make the shadow of the glass block. I would say that I spent the most time taking pictures for this photo assignment, and I am pretty happy with how my pictures turned out. From this last photo assignment, I learned about shooting still life, lighting subjects, and more about editing pictures in Photoshop. For this photograph, I decreased its temperature, exposure, contrast, and blacks. I increased highlights, shadows, whites, clarity, vibrance, and saturation. I also added vignetting and used the stamp tool to adjust the image.
