For the second photo assignment, I chose the subject macro. Originally I was got to shoot the subject animals, but I couldn't get my dogs to stand still for even a second. So, after about a hundred blurry pictures, I decided to switch it up and go with macro. I found three fruits in our house, so I set them up on a white binder. I also used another white binder for the background. I took some pictures of the set up of fruit, but didn't really like them, so then I tried using a flashlight to illuminate the fruit. I took more pictures of the fruit like this and liked them a lot better because of the darker background and how the light moved focus to one particular area of the picture. From this shoot, I mainly learned about the macro setting on my camera, and I learned more about lighting. For this photograph, I decreased temperature, exposure, highlights, and vibrance. I increased contrast, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, and saturation.
